Reproductive Services
Dr. Mack and the staff are experienced and interested in support of breeders and breeding programs. Dr. Mack has been involved in canine reproduction for nearly two decades, focusing on high-risk/low-fertility breeds and advanced neonatal care.
We offer the following reproductive services:
Health Screening: OFA hip, elbow, spine, trachea, patella, and thyroid testing. We do not routinely sedate for radiographs unless the patient requires sedation.
Pre-Breeding Testing and Evaluation: Fertility consultations, brucellosis and progesterone testing, breeding timing, semen evaluation, cultures, and more.
Semen collection, extension, and shipping. (Semen-freezing services are coming soon!)
Breeding services: Vaginal and surgical AI. (TCI coming soon!)
Pregnancy management: Ultrasound to confirm and evaluate pregnancy, management of high-risk pregnancies, radiographs for puppy counts.
Whelping services: Planned cesarean sections, timed with ovulation timing and pre-section progesterone and ultrasound evaluation, Emergency, during hours cesarean sections.
We are not available 24/7 for emergency services and strongly encourage ovulation timing.
